Right Click on the "empty screen" Press Create Macro's button ! Enter any nodes (even macros) + In/Out at the good types! Export : save it as a ".nod" file format Open : reload a created Macro Colors : change default color if needing Copy : duplicate on the node-pad for future "Paste" Remove : kill a macro(s) selected |
Process of a Macro (for the V3)
It is a set of nodes that can be saved and reintroduced whenever you want! Name it directly on the Title Panel Info up right corner or at the backup "Export". Nodes are created inside this new Macro's screen Needs an entrance (In) and an exit (Out)! (given by clicking on the empty screen) In addition, the nature of the Output must correspond to the desired type (here the choice gives by Right-Clicking on "Out" inside the Macro ( Numbers, Points, Objects) you must take here Objects for the Circle! Double Click on the Macro to Edit it! Back (top left screen or Space Bar) for exit! "Macro of Macros" is possible! (Curseur = Slider, De=In, Vers = Out, Sortie=OutPut) (will be translated for the V4 release ;) |
When a Macro is created, a new window opens which can be closed with the "Back" button.

If you save your Macro inside the Application Data Macro folder you will have your Macros accessible inside the Macro Pane!
Here named macro 1 etc but you can input any names! In Max's nodelist dropdown menu, under Macros, the selections In and Out which apply to macros, are available if and only if a macro node is present in the nodeeditor canvas, and is currently highlighted. |
